Resumen (Summary):
Today we introduced ourselves, reviewed the syllabus, and looked at the Blackboard website with the links for different websites (including this one) we'll use in the class. We looked at the QUIA site to see how it would look. We practiced greeting, asking and answering questions about our names and where we are from.
If the book key is prohibitively expensive for you, please see my announcement on Blackboard. After class today, I thought about the difficulties the online book is presenting, and decided I will give you an alternative option. Check back soon on Blackboard. I haven't posted the announcement yet, but I will in the next few hours.
La tarea (the homework) para viernes el 8 de septiembre:
1) Watch this video Hola, ¿Qué tal? (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bj-fAlHK2rM) and fill out the worksheet to go with it, given in class.
2) SAM Capitulo Preliminar Actividades 1, 2, 3 (if you haven't gotten the book key yet, you can find the exercises scanned in a PDF, posted in the Announcements sections on Blackboard).
3) Quizlet sets (to find them, scroll to bottom of the page at this link: https://quizlet.com/class/3908191/ Study "El abecedario," "Los saludos," "las presentaciones," "Los números 0 a 100." Practice with these.
